Nichola qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1990 and went on to qualify as an Accredited Police Station Representative in 1995. In 1997, she qualified as a Solicitor through the College of Law, Guildford. She is a member of the Complex Crime Unit Very High Cost Case Panel and has prepared a number of very high cost cases, including fraud, drug importation, violent disorder, robbery and GBH. Nichola joined Taylor Street Solicitors in July 2010.
Nichola is also experienced in preparing Crown Court cases, notably including massive drug importation of cocaine from Columbia. She prepared a high profile Crown Court case for a client charged with abduction, rape and murder, which involved the client being extradited from India to stand trial. She has also prepared cases for clients charged with murder, attempted murder, rape, GBH, perjury and robbery. Nichola has recently prepared notable Crown Court case in which a female escort was charged with murder of her client. Client was acquitted of murder, and convicted of manslaughter
Aside from Crown Court preparation, Nichola advises at civilian and military police stations. Her Courts Martial experience includes preparing a high profile case in which the client was charged with murder in Iraq. She has acted for military personnel in military police station interviews in the United Kingdom and Germany.
Currently, Nichola's case load is comprised of Crown Court and police station work. She is a member of the firm's internal police station rota, providing 24-hour advice to clients at the police station.
