Emma-Louise graduated from York University in 2003 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Law and LLP qualification at the College of Law in 2007. She qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and became a Duty Solicitor in 2010. Since qualification, she has worked exclusively in criminal defence work.
She undertakes a broad spectrum of criminal work including Crown Court trial preparation, police station representation and Crown Court committals for sentence. Her experience includes a broad range of offences, from motoring offences to serious sexual offences and murder.
Currently, Emma-Louise works primarily as an advocate in the Magistrates' Court and Youth Court, conducting trials in both.
